Pearl Harbor Memorial Wreath from USS Butler DESA

Alexander, the "Skipper" of the John C. Butler Arizona Chapter Destroyer Escort
Sailors Association, at Wesley Bolin Plaza, State Capital, Phoenix, to
commemorate the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor at 0755 on 7 DEC 1941, which
brought the USA into World War II. The wreath is presented each year at the
anchor of USS Arizona. Marshall Trimble, State Historian, keynote speaker at the
ceremony, told the John C. Butler story in his speech and was pleased to see
Ensign Butler represented by our association.
This same wreath is also presented by the "Skipper" each year on Memorial Day at
the National Cemetery to honor those who died in the service of our country.
